Sur Moraira

Moraira has been our home for the last 13 years, so perhaps we're a little biased when it comes to letting people know how great it is here... but hey, after 13 years you have to believe us!

Moraira has a population of roughly 16000 local residents, this increases in the summer with the influx of foreign tourists into the area. The main reason for Morairas popularity is down to a few key things

Fantastic Blue Flag beaches with shallow waters, perfect for families A great selection of restaurants to suit everyone's taste and budget Friendly local people and an authentic small town feel

Moraira is located almost exactly between Alicante and Valencia airports, with easy access from both via hire car or private bus services, you can be in Moraira within 1hr 15 mins from either airport. Accommodation is predominantly made up from private villa rentals and a few apartments in the town itself. If you're looking for a beachfront full of hotels and holiday complexes then Moraira is not for you, but there are plenty of other areas down the coast like Benidorm that caters for that type of holiday. All of the building here is low rise and domestic, with the exception of a few apartment blocks in the center of the town.

Moraira also has some great activities for the more adventurous amongst us! From the main beach in the center of town, you can try Parasailing and Jetski tours. The beach at El Portet, just 1km from the town center, you can try your hand at kayaking and SUP (Stand-up Paddling). If you like something with a little more power and less hard work then you can also find various boat charters in the marina.
