About Moraira
Moraira has been our home for the last 13 years, so perhaps we're a little biased when it comes to letting people know how great it is here... but hey, after 13 years you have to believe us!
With a population of roughly 16000 local residents, Moraira is a small Spanish town on the Costa Blanca, nestled between Javea and Calpe. The main reason for Morairas popularity is down to a few key things:
Fantastic Blue Flag beaches with shallow waters, perfect for families | A great selection of restaurants to suit everyone's taste and budget | Friendly local people and an authentic small town feel |
Moraira is located almost exactly between Alicante and Valencia airports, you can be in Moraira within 1hr 15 mins from either airport. It also has great access to local towns such as Javea, Dénia, Calpe,Benidorm and Benissa.
Moraira also has some great activities for the more adventurous amongst us! From the main beach in the center of town, you can try Parasailing and Jetski tours. The beach at El Portet, just 1km from the town center, you can try your hand at kayaking and SUP (Stand-up Paddling). If you like something with a little more power and less hard work then you can also find various boat charters in the marina.
